We're delighted to announce our new philanthropic program for Yiggybean, that will aim to put more good into the book world.
At Yiggybean we believe in creating initiatives that will help the LGBTQIA+ community and wider book community, and will continue to grow the program year on year.
Accessibility
As part of our Yiggybean Cares program, we've put measures in place to make our website experience safer and more comfortable for all. You can find these new features by clicking the pink button on our website shown below.
On our website, you can now easily access the accessibility features to customize your Yiggybean experience. Whether that's upping the contrast, changing text colors or optimizing readability. The options allow readers to select certain profiles based on your needs. These include motor-impaired, color blind, dyslexic and ADHD profiles, amongst others!
There are also options for brightness, zoomed screen, and a big cursor for easier navigation across the site, among a variety of other accessibility features.
We're excited to bring these invaluable features to Yiggybean and offer more options for every visitor.

Yiggybean Aware
An important part of our work will revolve around an upcoming campaign looking at creating more awareness around the content within the titles we sell.
We want readers to be more informed and aware of the content they read, and be safe doing so. Therefore, we're launching a new community-led initiative called Yiggybean Aware that's designed to flag sensitive topics, themes and triggers to keep our readers safe and in control.
This is currently in a beta, and is accepting submissions at this link.

Non-profit & Charity Support
We want to use our platform and voice to uplift incredible charities and non-profit organizations doing outstanding work in the LGBTQIA+ community. Through fundraising, event partnerships and community collaborations, Yiggybean will work closely with people making a positive difference to boost and highlight their efforts.
