TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL ASSAULT, INCEST

We've been waiting a hot minute for this one, y'all. SuBLime Manga's first foray into the Omegaverse. I bet that trigger warning got your attention, didn't it? Let me just say this about that - it isn't as graphic or as protracted as the scenes featured in The Song of Yoru & Asa but it's there so we're giving a heads up for those who need it.

So, where to begin? For those of you who have no clue what the Omegaverse is, there's a handy overview included in this volume. HOWEVER - it's located at the back of the book instead of at the front. Kind of a little bit weird on the placement. On one hand, having the Omegaverse overview at the front of the volume would have totally ruined the aesthetic impact of the four full color, glossy pages that serve as our first glimpse of the main characters. On the other hand, if you choose to flip to the back to figure out what the heck the Omegaverse is before you dive in, you're going to spoil the jaw-dropper ending because it is directly across from the last page. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF. If you're new to it, google an Omegaverse guide before you dive in. I'm dead serious.

Scattering His Virgin Bloom centers around Hana and Renjaku. At 26-years-old Hana is an Omega who works at a cafe and is frequently mistaken for an Alpha. Having never gone into heat before it comes as a total surprise when his first heat hits while he's standing right in front of Renjaku, a regular at his cafe who also happens to be both an Alpha and a total jerk! Hana is both naive and inexperienced, while Renjaku's mouth is as foul as his disposition. Sound fun? It is, honestly.

This is one of those story lines where it seems like the rude Alpha probably has a soft side to him that he just isn't used to showing anyone and I'm looking forward to seeing that develop in future volumes. Frankly, the cliff hanger this volume ended on has me foaming at the mouth for volume 2! Conversely, our Omega here most definitely has a troubled past that he's been running from. Perhaps in future volumes we'll be treated to one of those heart wrenching scenarios where past trauma is soothed by true love? Maybe? Probably. I hope so, anyway.

Art work here is beautiful and the story obviously caught my interest LOL. As most Omegaverse fans will expect, this volume is filled to the brim with plenty of fwop, squelch, slap, slap, ahn, hngh, SPLURRRRT! And that's how we like it, yes?

Verdict: Don't sleep on this one. It's a great read and as much as we've all begged and pleaded for Omegaverse titles in English we best make them a success if we want to see more! Ready? Check it out on our site here or purchase directly below.

TLDR;

Share only with fellow fujin, this one's too SPICY for public consumption!
