Seiji Tajima runs a convenience store in a small town, and thanks to his easygoing attitude toward much of life, he's still single. Tall, muscular patrolman Shin Nakamoto is a frequent visitor to Seiji's rather desolate shop, and although the two met ten years earlier, they only recently reconnected after Shin was assigned to the police box nearby.
